Dr. Marois completed his specialization in urology in 1998 and has been a non-participant of the RAMQ since September, 2017. He’s the first private urologist to establish a practice in Quebec, and he now works exclusively at the four clinics he founded as well as at the Centre métropolitain de Chirurgie.
His clinical experience allows him to offer several diagnostic services, including transperineal prostate biopsies, cystoscopies and flowmetries. In addition, his past surgical experience led to him develop expertise in minimally invasive surgeries performed in general operating rooms under local anesthetic.
Furthermore, Dr. Marois is proficient in neonatal and pediatric circumcisions. To adults, he offers cosmetic circumcisions using surgical skin glue. He’s also the first urologist tin the province to set himself up with a private urological operating room with fluoroscopy equipment. This allows him to provide a full range of endoscopic surgeries.
In Quebec, he’s a pioneer for his use of penile implants to treat erectile dysfunction in private practice. Among his focuses are the treatment of erectile dysfunction and testosterone deficiencies in men, as well as sexual dysfunction in women.
Dr Ouellette completed his specialization in urology in 1997 and works in a private practice since September 2021. He spent his first years in various hospitals in New Brunswick and has been practicing in Quebec since 2001. Granting a lot of importance to training and continual medical education, he has been involved with the Association des urologues du Québec from 2009 to 2017, and has given numerous conferences to several groups of family physicians in Quebec. Passionate about medical research, he has also been principal investigator in more than thirty research protocols dealing with advanced prostate cancer, overactive bladder, nocturia and obstructive urinary tract symptoms related to the prostate. During his career, he has developed an ever-growing interest in human health and has been invited on several occasions to consultative meetings aimed at preparing guidelines covering several areas of urology to guide practitioners in their medical interventions. In addition to the other interests he has developed during his wide and varied medical practice, he has a particular interest in the treatment of erectile dysfunction and testosterone deficiency in men.
