How can VTone help with muscle weakness and vaginal laxity?

VTone is a comfortable, non-surgical, Health Canada approved technology.

This device induces intravaginal neuromuscular electrostimulation (EMS) to rehabilitate weak pelvic floor muscles for the treatment of various types of urinary incontinence in women.

This treatment is a complement to active pelvic floor exercises and general lifestyle advice, and is performed by our specially trained nursing staff.

The whole thing is done in 30 minutes.

How can Morpheus V8 help with vaginal subepithelial remodeling and collagen contraction?

Morpheus V8 is a fast and effective bipolar radiofrequency technology that addresses a wide range of concerns, such as vaginal laxity, vulvovaginal atrophy and mild stress incontinence.

Clinically, physicians can offer targeted and precise procedures, performing treatments without the general anesthesia, incision or downtime associated with excisional procedures.

This device delivers energy up to 3 mm deep through a matrix of 24 fine gold-coated microneedles.

Also, this device "equalizes" electrocoagulation to provide temperatures that induce tissue coagulation and collagen contraction.

This treatment is performed by our specially trained urologists.

The whole thing is done in 45 minutes.

How does PLUS90 help with genitourinary menopausal syndrome?

Plus90 (or called Votiva in the U.S.) is designed for pain relief and improved blood flow related to genitourinary menopausal syndrome (GUM), via volumetrically heated vulvar tissue remodeling.

This treatment is also non-invasive and safe, as the temperature is monitored in real time.

This treatment is performed by our specially trained nursing staff.

The whole thing is done in 30 minutes.

Preparation before vulvovaginal treatment with radio frequency & electrostimulation

Preparation before treatment

  • Hair must be shaved – not plucked or chemically removed – in the treatment area two days before treatment. Jewelry must be removed in the treatment area (PLUS90 only)

  • It is best to empty your bladder before the procedure.

  • Avoid blood thinners such as aspirin throughout treatment (if health condition permits) and subject to physician approval. Blood thinners increase the possibility of bruising (Morpheus V8 only).

Recommendations after vulvovaginal treatment by radio frequency & electrostimulation

 Post-treatment recommendations

  • An emollient cream or healing ointment would be applied to the external treatment area. Ex: Vaniply, Vaseline, antibiotic ointment or Aquaphor can be used.

  • Scabs may appear after one to three days and remain for several days after treatment. They should not be touched or scratched even if they itch and should be able to flake off naturally.

  • Blisters can be treated with a prescribed antibiotic ointment or burn cream at the discretion of the urologist.

  • For the first two to seven days following treatment, any mechanical or thermal damage to the area should be avoided (e.g. laser hair removal, sexual intercourse, etc.)

  • In case of vaginal discharge, a panty liner can be worn the first day after treatment.
