Virtual online consultation

Are you worried about a urological problem and need to be reassured? Are you concerned about a test that has been canceled due the present context? Wondering when and how the treatment you should receive will take place? Do you need to have a prescription renewed? Well, a virtual online consultation gives you access to one of our urologists, without having to get out of your house.

Procedure

  • Our staff will guide you through the process to create an account on our patient portal; it is very simple. You will need to have access to a computer or a tablet, with microphone and camera. If this is not possible, you will be offered a telephone consultation.
  • Once your account has been created, our staff will send you by email various documents to be signed electronically; consent, general information, etc. Once everything is completed, they will offer you a virtual an appointment with one of our urologists.
  • As in an in-person consultation, you will have to explain your symptoms and how they affect your life. Your urologist will question you more specifically, and may also conduct a visual examination. If an element of the physical examination proves to be necessary (ex: a rectal evaluation of the prostate), the urologist will suggest that you do it free of charge, at a later time during a visit to one of our clinics. At the end of the consultation, you will know exactly what to expect.

You can now have an online consultation, thanks to our telemedicine service.

Would you like to make an appointment, or do you have any questions? Write to us and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

Dr. Marois is a urologist who is not a member of the Régie d’Assurance Maladie du Québec (RAMQ). As such, the clinic can not claim the RAMQ for the payment of his services. If you consult Dr Marois, you must pay for the services rendered.

    Cancellation of appointment:

To ensure the smooth running of the clinic and a minimum of courtesy towards other patients and our staff, we ask you to notify us 48 hours in advance for the cancellation of a consultation, 5 working days in advance for a surgery at the office and 21 working days in advance for a major surgery. If these deadlines are not respected, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service will be charged.

    Change of appointment:

We understand that events occur, so we ask you to provide us with at least a 24-hour notice for any change in their appointment; we will be happy to accommodate you, the best we can. However, if you fail to inform us within this timeframe or do not show up, we will charge a $ 100 fee.

    Thank you for your understanding.
