COVID-19

Les Cliniques Marois have your well-being at heart and therefore, closely monitor the situation of COVID-19 and take all possible measures to provide a safe work environment. The Clinics are therefore open and functional.

Here are the preventive measures that we have implemented, based on the recommendations of the Fédération des Médecins Spécialistes du Québec.

We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection, particularly of door handles, faucets, coffee machines and payment terminals.

We have added several automatic disinfectant dispensers; we ask that all patients use them before even entering in the clinics.

Although hand washing is already automatic at our clinics, we have implemented additional hygiene measures (e.g. more space between chairs in waiting rooms).

We also limit access to our patients only; when necessary, persons accompanying our patients, will be asked to wait outside the clinics or return at the end of the intervention (some exceptions may apply, such as baby circumcision).

For the sake of prevention, we asked that our employees returning from a trip abroad to stay at home.

If you are over 70 and you prefer to stay in the comfort of your home and the context is suitable, we invite you to conduct a telephone consultation with Dr Marois. In addition, we are able to offer many important tests and treatments, which may be canceled in hospitals in the coming weeks.

Can’t make it to your appointment, but still need to talk to Dr Marois? It is now possible to have a consultation or a follow-up appointment thanks to our telemedicine service. Our secretaries will gladly assist you in the process.

Dr. Marois is a urologist who is not a member of the Régie d’Assurance Maladie du Québec (RAMQ). As such, the clinic can not claim the RAMQ for the payment of his services. If you consult Dr Marois, you must pay for the services rendered.

Cancellation of appointment:

To ensure the smooth running of the clinic and a minimum of courtesy towards other patients and our staff, we ask you to notify us 48 hours in advance for the cancellation of a consultation, 5 working days in advance for a surgery at the office and 21 working days in advance for a major surgery. If these deadlines are not respected, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service will be charged.

Change of appointment:

We understand that events occur, so we ask you to provide us with at least a 24-hour notice for any change in their appointment; we will be happy to accommodate you, the best we can. However, if you fail to inform us within this timeframe or do not show up, we will charge a $ 100 fee.
